SPC Director and expert Colin Carswell awarded his MA
SPC are proud to announce that Colin Carswell has been awarded his MA in ‘Human Trafficking, Organised Crime and Migration’ from St Mary’s University in London.
Having retired from the Met Police in March of 2020 Colin was brought on as a Director at SPC but he also immediately recognised the benefit of an academic qualification to back up his years of experience in the police. Colin made the decision to complete the work in 12 months despite the extra burden that would place on his work life balance. He completed the degree at the same time as being fully committed to supporting victims of human trafficking through our work.
Colin was awarded his MA with ‘Distinction’ and due to his outstanding contribution to the course and his real life practical knowledge and experience he was immediately employed as a part time lecturer on the same course.
