Directors of SPC to deliver human trafficking training in Moldova
The Directors of Specialist Policing Consultancy are delivering a new human trafficking training initiative in Chișinău, Moldova between the 16th and 27th of May 2022.
The training is supported by the British Chamber of Commerce (Moldova) and the UK charity ‘MadAid’ – delivered by a team of human trafficking and migration experts from SPC’s sister company, the Counter Trafficking Network.
This CPD accredited course is designed for NGOs, volunteers and Law Enforcement, supporting Ukrainian refugees in this humanitarian crisis.
The course will equip participants with a basic understanding of how to identify and assist potential victims.
Key areas covered include:
- What is human trafficking and smuggling
- Victim identification- signs to look for & trafficking indicators
- Methodologies of human traffickers, how they operate and how to spot them
- How to talk to potential victims (human trafficking screening interview techniques)
- Signposting assistance & support
