SPC’s recent trip to Ukraine

In February, we at Specialist Policing Consultancy had the privilege of once again visiting Ukraine to meet with key institutions and associates including the Office of the Prosecutor General (OPG), the National Police of Ukraine (NPU), the UNODC, Caritas Ukraine and others.

It has now been over three years since the full-scale invasion and as we all know the country continues to face challenges, needing support more than ever. Despite the hardships, the resilience of the Ukrainian people and nation is clear to see and everyone we spent time with shows unwavering strength and commitment not only just to fight the war, but to deliver justice to the people of Ukraine in the fight against crime and human trafficking.

During these meetings, we discussed future projects that can support the Ukrainian government and police to make Ukraine a safer place for its people in the future. We see this support as being essential to the reconstruction of the nation.

Together with our partners, we are focused on enhancing the capacity of Ukraine’s criminal justice system, providing necessary resources and training for the OPG and extending humanitarian aid through organisations like Caritas and other civil society organisations.
